I've been pretty busy. We just moved, I've had about four school projects due, (three more soon,) I'm trying to win a contest, earn some cash, and on top of all that, actually work on artwork of my own.
About the contest - It, of course, is for Creature Feature, and I'm trying to win Special Edition Copies of Evil Dead I&II. Check it out here.
It'll be over on Monday, when the winner is announced.
"But what do you have to do?" you ask.
The contest is to make a sign saying something like "Creature Feature Stole My Soul" or "Creature Feature Can Haz CheeseBurger."
"And what does that have to with artwork?"
In my some of my signs, I've drawn the terrible two (Erik X and Curtis Rx) in various situations.
I've submitted it, however, I'm not sure if it actually went through. I don't really know how to leave photos in comments and such.
I made it using just Black Sharpie on Printer Paper, nothing fancy.
I have other signs reading "I don't need caffeine, I have Creature Feature" or "Creature Feature Loves Home-Made Robots."
I know for sure, the Caffeine sign has been accepted - you can see it for yourself.
I'm worried about the others though. I was really happy with the Brain Stealing, and Home-Made Robots, as it featured WALL-E, my Robotics' Team creation...
Ah well. I never expected to win anyway. *worries* D:
"Now, what else are you working on in your laboratory?"
I still have various, and temporarily abandoned knitting projects, but I recently uncovered this chart from The AntiCraft.
I'm making this as a Birthday Gift for a Special Somebody - I cannot say who, I've been sworn to secrecy...
Anyway, it shall be a cross-stitched Zombie Bookmark. Unfortunately the chart was too big, so I painstakingly re-wrote it to fit the fabric. I'm also going to Tea-Dye it, but the kettle is somewhere in a box...
And now, like the rest of the world, my concern for money.
I really need a job. I only go shopping during Christmas-time or around my Birthday, after getting about $25. Yeah - that buys me about one book. I went to Borders the other day to look around, as they were having a sale. It would have cost me more to buy a book, so I ended up just getting a DVD (Evil Dead).
And with CF's new T-Shirts, I seriously need to get some cash somewhere.
And well, I guess that's it for now? I forgot what I really meant to do - I'm sleepy...
